Maybe not. And that's what Kucabara is about to prove.

Defense Devil is an on going manga about a banished demon (although he doesn't act like a demon) who's trying to collect "dark matter" in order for him to regain his demon powers.

Story: 8/10

I feel in love with this manga just from reading the 1st chapter. The mixture of death note-ish plot with shonen action is the winning feature of this manga. A demon who doesn't act like one decided to become a defense devil, or a lawyer who proves the innocence of the "Unknown" (a person who's sin is yet to be determined) before a shinigami comes and sends the sinner to hell. Basic plot is pretty good, but the story isn't all about the whole proving detective stuff, the story progresses and expands to a whole new arc.

Character Development: 8/10

AGAIN this is one of the win features of this manga. At first I though this was just gonna be some random manga who just keeps solving the cases until the main character gets what he wants. The mystery behind each character creates the new arc. Each of them has their own relevance, their own dark past which is all interesting in their own way. Character depth isn't left out here there aren't much side characters in this manga apparently they just appear for 1-3 chapters, leaving everything to the main characters. This arrangement helps in focusing

I really enjoyed this manga. For people who loves action but with the mind twisting aspect, then put this one on your to read list!

Short rating: 7/10 at first it was good, but then it totally pissed me off

 I arrived at the event at approximately 11 AMish? lol

I was with my friend Paolo and I got to meet new people too like May, Thea (lol ganto ba spell?), Carlo and other people, lets get to the point!

When I arrived there was already a pretty long line for the tickets, they sold them at 12:30 noon and of course I bought one since I wasn't able to buy pre-sale tickets.

Then there was the line for the entrance~

I was like ''woot I bet even the way to death has a line!''. But I pretty much thought that I was worth it since IT IS "UP AME" one of the most anticipated events of the year. When I got in I thought it was "ok" I mean IMO they should have gotten the halls upstairs instead of Hall 2 which was on the ground floor.

It looked a bit depressing XD yeah I like the ones up stairs...

I noticed they didn't have that much sponsors unlike BOF or other cons, and I thought maybe thats why they got Hall 2 instead of the other ones upstairs. Can't blame them now can I? No, so I didn't care much. I noticed the fail locations of the booths...

1st who would want to sit IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CONVENTION, they placed the cafe IN THE MIDDLE. WEIRD. It's okay if it wasn't an open cafe but it was, exposure was everywhere. lol

and all the other booths was placed on the sides... In the darkness... o__o

But besides that it was pretty good, they sold pretty decent stuff and they actually have food that was appropriate for the event *cough*herosoldlumpia*cough*fail*cough*

Events were okay too, plus there was a lot of people. SO MANY PEOPLE that the line for the tickets even reached outside SMX! The tickets were sold out quickly it was about 4:00m onwards that the problem started.

We went to the main mall for a while to eat, we were kinda starving XD so when 2 of us already went back to SMX leaving the 3 behind.

Here's the thing, when our 3 companions came back to SMX the guards said they aren't allowed to get in. They texted me and told me that they weren't allowed to go inside SMX

I was like "OKAY FTW WHY?!" There was a problem, the organizer said that the tickets were sold out and people who don't have any tickets are not allowed to go inside. Then I asked the guard why won't she let my friends in they ALREADY went side HOURS ago and they just went out to eat. They even got stamped! Then she kept insisting "Bawal pumasok kahit may ticket" In my mind I so wanted to kill her... and say "FREAKING HELL COMMON SENSE MERON KA HA MERON KA BA?!!?" Seriosly, they don't just have the ticket they ALSO got stamped!

So I asked the marshals inside to check the problem out, they even they were surprised! Then I heard something about the management telling them to do that or some other crap I'm not quite sure. lol but after that they fixed the problem.

Blah blah blah I went home and My feet are killing meee... *grumble grumble*

I dunno If I'll go to LU live tomorrow @__@

Mysteries, apparently they taste good, at least to the devil called Nougami Neuro

The series Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro ( Demon Detective Neuro Nougami) is about a demon who eats mysteries. Even though he already ate all the mysteries in the demon world, he still hungers for more. And so he went to the human world to fill up his appetite, the negative energy that humans release is the best food for him. Since he can't let humans know of his presence he made a deal with a high school girl with a HUGE (were talking BIG amounts here people!) appetite for food. (lol aren't they the same? :P) Yako has her own mystery to solve. And together they solve mysteries to fill Neuro's appetite.

Story - 7/10:

IMO its not that complicated. Mysteries aren't that hard core. I even ended up predicting almost every episode, the fail part here is they made everything so obvious. Unlike in other detective stories you won't get to see the criminals reaction or insights which makes everything more exciting. The only thrill there is the last part, but it still became predictable in the end. I don't know if its just cuz' I watch too much of this genre but I really think its predictable.

But you can still enjoy all the Neuro fun and their lines and stuff like that

Animation/ Art - 7/10:

Art, a bit weird at times but yeah, still good. Animation VERY SMOOTH! IMO I dun like the color of Neuro's suit. lol The animation really reminds me of Yu-Gi-Oh! and the whole inverted triangle reminds me of the millennium puzzle o__o Although some parts are a bit exaggerated, especially the parts where Neuro eats up the negative energy. Its seriously just like YGO's animation its just like the freaking shadow realm thingy! Besides that I have no problem with it 

Music - 8/10:

Nightmare for an opening song... just plain awesome! The ending song is also very good, I love the sad tune. They also used this in the episode, it really calms me and makes me think about stuff. Back ground music and sounds are right on track, not much to argue here since they did a pretty good job on this part

Character development - 6/10:

Its simple, as time goes by Yako gets smarter and gets to solve her own mystery. But the other characters don't get much. Poor police they don't get to solve much stuff since they're only the ones who tells the details and stuff. And Neuro, he just gets to become a little humanish, but still nothing much changed. And the other guys... oh just nevermind..

Enjoyment 8/10:

Its a pretty good anime to make the time pass by. If you love tons of mysteries and want it per episode, then this is the anime for you!

It got me hooked up enough to finish the whole thing. Its not that bad, but its not as good as Ghost Hunt.

Here's a glutton demon and a glutton girl put them together and add up the guy who runs the errands and the hair secretary and two cops, together they get to solve the mysteries that's in front of them. Yep.. thats kinda it.

Overall I rate this series 7.5/10
